Notas: Following the approaches of the Semiotics of Culture, this article deals with the conflict accentuated between Russia and the West after the invasion of Ukraine. Specifically, three interventions by President Vladimir Putin during the year 2021 are analyzed in order to describe how the universe of meaning in which Russia is intended to be placed in the world and against its adversaries is configured. In this regard, the analysis focuses on the main isotopies of his discourse, on his narrative structure and on enunciative strategies. On this basis, the main oppositions that are established between Russian and Western culture and the reasons that make a friendly and constructive dialogue impossible at the present time are highlighted. It ends by proposing a look towards the future and arguing how a more effective diplomatic relationship between Russia and Europe could be promoted.
Siguiendo los planteamientos de la semiótica de la cultura, en este artículo se aborda el conflicto que se ha acentuado entre Rusia yOccidente tras la invasión de Ucrania. Concretamente, se analizan tres intervenciones del presidente Vladimir Putin durante el año 2021 con el fin de describir cómo se configura el universo de sentido en el que se pretende situar a Rusia en el mundo y frente a sus adversarios. Al respecto, el análisis se centra en las principales isotopías de su discurso, en su estructura narrativa y en las estrategias enunciativas. Sobre esta base, se destacan las principales oposiciones que se establecen entre la cultura rusa y la occidental y las razones que imposibilitan un diálogo amistoso y constructivo en el momento presente. Se finaliza proponiendo una mirada hacia el futuro y argumentando cómo se podría favorecer una relación diplomática más eficaz entre Rusia y Europa.
