Descripción:: Este trabalho científico, enquadra-se no domínio da Infantaria Paraquedista e está subordinado ao tema “ A Aplicabilidade das Tropas Paraquedistas nos Quadros da Atual Conflitualidade”. Com este trabalho tem-se em vista confirmar as capacidades atuais das tropas paraquedistas portuguesas. O fio condutor que guiou a investigação foi verificar se os dois Batalhões de Infantaria Paraquedista e o Batalhão Operacional Aeroterrestre da Brigada de Reação Rápida, estão aptos a cumprir com as missões que lhes possam ser atribuídas. Através de um enquadramento histórico, de uma análise à constituição e organização territorial das atuais tropas paraquedistas e uma introdução a dois teatros de operações atuais, os quais tentámos classificar na conflitualidade. Através duma comparação dos atuais quadros orgânicos de pessoal e com o que é pretendido pela OTAN, foi constituído o conjunto de dados necessários para continuação da investigação desta temática. No desenvolvimento da metodologia científica, utilizou-se a análise de livros e periódicos da especialidade para obter a informação complementar necessária. Recorreu-setambém a fontes documentais e a entrevistas para a consolidação dos dados já disponíveis para posterior validação da investigação. Resultado desta, concluiu-se que neste momento as tropas paraquedistas portuguesas estão aptas a cumprir as missões que lhes estão ou poderão vir a ser atribuídas.; Abstract This scientific work falls within the field of Parachute Infantry and is related to the theme "The Applicability of Parachute Troops in the range of the current conflict."         < mods:abstract > Este trabalho científico, enquadra-se no domínio da Infantaria Paraquedista e está subordinado ao tema “ A Aplicabilidade das Tropas Paraquedistas nos Quadros da Atual Conflitualidade”. Com este trabalho tem-se em vista confirmar as capacidades atuais das tropas paraquedistas portuguesas. O fio condutor que guiou a investigação foi verificar se os dois Batalhões de Infantaria Paraquedista e o Batalhão Operacional Aeroterrestre da Brigada de Reação Rápida, estão aptos a cumprir com as missões que lhes possam ser atribuídas. Através de um enquadramento histórico, de uma análise à constituição e organização territorial das atuais tropas paraquedistas e uma introdução a dois teatros de operações atuais, os quais tentámos classificar na conflitualidade. Através duma comparação dos atuais quadros orgânicos de pessoal e com o que é pretendido pela OTAN, foi constituído o conjunto de dados necessários para continuação da investigação desta temática. No desenvolvimento da metodologia científica, utilizou-se a análise de livros e periódicos da especialidade para obter a informação complementar necessária. Recorreu-setambém a fontes documentais e a entrevistas para a consolidação dos dados já disponíveis para posterior validação da investigação. Resultado desta, concluiu-se que neste momento as tropas paraquedistas portuguesas estão aptas a cumprir as missões que lhes estão ou poderão vir a ser atribuídas. </ mods:abstract >

7. < mods:abstract > Abstract This scientific work falls within the field of Parachute Infantry and is related to the theme "The Applicability of Parachute Troops in the range of the current conflict." This work aims at confirming the current capabilities of the Portuguese parachute forces. The thread that guided the research was to determine whether the two Battalions of Parachute Infantry and the Air-land Operational one belonging to the Rapid Reaction Brigade, are able to fulfill the tasks that may be assigned to them. Through an historical context, an analysis of the constitution and territorial organization of current parachute troops and an introduction to two operations’ theaters in use nowadays, which we tried to classify in the conflict spectrum. Through the comparison between their equipment and personnel tables and what NATO requires, a pack of necessary data was built to carry on with the research. Regarding the scientific methodology development, we used the analysis of books and journals to obtain the necessary information. In addition, documental sources were used as well as interviews to collect all relevant data to validate the research’s results. As the final result, we concluded that right now the Portuguese parachute forces are capable of fulfilling the missions assigned or that may be assigned to. </ mods:abstract >

Com este trabalho tem-se em vista confirmar as capacidades atuais das tropas paraquedistas portuguesas. O fio condutor que guiou a investigação foi verificar se os dois Batalhões de Infantaria Paraquedista e o Batalhão Operacional Aeroterrestre da Brigada de Reação Rápida, estão aptos a cumprir com as missões que lhes possam ser atribuídas. Através de um enquadramento histórico, de uma análise à constituição e organização territorial das atuais tropas paraquedistas e uma introdução a dois teatros de operações atuais, os quais tentámos classificar na conflitualidade. Através duma comparação dos atuais quadros orgânicos de pessoal e com o que é pretendido pela OTAN, foi constituído o conjunto de dados necessários para continuação da investigação desta temática. No desenvolvimento da metodologia científica, utilizou-se a análise de livros e periódicos da especialidade para obter a informação complementar necessária. Recorreu-setambém a fontes documentais e a entrevistas para a consolidação dos dados já disponíveis para posterior validação da investigação. Resultado desta, concluiu-se que neste momento as tropas paraquedistas portuguesas estão aptas a cumprir as missões que lhes estão ou poderão vir a ser atribuídas. </ dcterms:abstract >
8. < dcterms:abstract > Abstract This scientific work falls within the field of Parachute Infantry and is related to the theme "The Applicability of Parachute Troops in the range of the current conflict." This work aims at confirming the current capabilities of the Portuguese parachute forces. The thread that guided the research was to determine whether the two Battalions of Parachute Infantry and the Air-land Operational one belonging to the Rapid Reaction Brigade, are able to fulfill the tasks that may be assigned to them. Through an historical context, an analysis of the constitution and territorial organization of current parachute troops and an introduction to two operations’ theaters in use nowadays, which we tried to classify in the conflict spectrum. Through the comparison between their equipment and personnel tables and what NATO requires, a pack of necessary data was built to carry on with the research. Regarding the scientific methodology development, we used the analysis of books and journals to obtain the necessary information. In addition, documental sources were used as well as interviews to collect all relevant data to validate the research’s results. As the final result, we concluded that right now the Portuguese parachute forces are capable of fulfilling the missions assigned or that may be assigned to. </ dcterms:abstract >
