Descripción:: O presente relatório, intitulado “A aplicabilidade do Policiamento Orientado pelas Informações na GNR”, é um estudo que tem como finalidade avaliar a aplicabilidade do modelo no seio da GNR e identificar possíveis mais-valias do modelo. A presente investigação iniciou-se com um enquadramento teórico, seguido de uma pesquisa bibliográfica, onde se elencaram conceitos fundamentais que servem de base de enquadramento do tema em análise. O trabalho de campo teve por base a aplicação de inquéritos por questionário. A GNR, face aos novos modos de atuação dos criminosos, deverá reformular o seu modo de fazer polícia. As características e modo de funcionamento do Policiamento Orientado pelas Informações assente na proatividade e precisão, constitui-se como uma evolução natural aos programas e modelos já desenvolvidos. Com este trabalho conclui-se que a GNR apresenta potencialidades de aplicabilidade do modelo. As estruturas orgânicas já existentes, como é o caso da Secção de Operações Informações Treino e Relações Públicas e Secção de Investigação Criminal, contribuem para o desenvolvimento do mesmo, uma vez que, desempenham funções primordiais do Policiamento Orientado pelas Informações. Estas funções possibilitam a realização de uma melhor e racional alocação de recursos, no que diz respeito ao esforço do policiamento, por parte dos Comandantes de Destacamento Territorial. Desta forma, aliadas a estruturas tecnológicas como o SGO, SIIOP e SIG-SIRESP, estruturas estas capazes de produzir e difundir informação por todo o dispositivo, contribui-se para o desenvolvimento de uma atuação policial proativa de combate à criminalidade. Para melhor tirar proveito das mais-valias do modelo em estudo, a GNR deverá melhorar algumas áreas, de destacar, a formação na área das informações. Aperfeiçoando os modelos de policiamento e programas especiais já desenvolvidos pela GNR, aliados ao melhoramento das áreas descritas, a GNR continuará a prestar um serviço público de qualidade ao cidadão.; Abstract This report, entitled "The applicability of Intelligence-led Policing in the GNR", is a study that aims to evaluate the model’s applicability in the GNR and to identify the model’s potential gains. Existing organizational structures like the Training, Information, Operations and Public Relations Section, and the Criminal Investigation Section, contribute to the GNR model's development, as they play an essential role in Intelligence-led Policing. These functions enable the realization of a better and more rational distribution of resources, as far as policing efforts by the Territorial detachment commanders is concerned. Therefore, along with the technological structures such as the SGO, SIIOP and SIG-SIRESP, these structures can produce and disseminate information through the workforce, thus helping to develop proactive policing actions to fight crime. In order to maximize the benefits of the model under study, GNR should improve some areas, primarily in intelligence training. With the enhancement of the police models and special programs already developed by GNR, along with the improvement of the described areas, GNR will continue to provide an excellent public service to citizens.

A presente investigação iniciou-se com um enquadramento teórico, seguido de uma pesquisa bibliográfica, onde se elencaram conceitos fundamentais que servem de base de enquadramento do tema em análise. O trabalho de campo teve por base a aplicação de inquéritos por questionário. A GNR, face aos novos modos de atuação dos criminosos, deverá reformular o seu modo de fazer polícia. As características e modo de funcionamento do Policiamento Orientado pelas Informações assente na proatividade e precisão, constitui-se como uma evolução natural aos programas e modelos já desenvolvidos. Com este trabalho conclui-se que a GNR apresenta potencialidades de aplicabilidade do modelo. As estruturas orgânicas já existentes, como é o caso da Secção de Operações Informações Treino e Relações Públicas e Secção de Investigação Criminal, contribuem para o desenvolvimento do mesmo, uma vez que, desempenham funções primordiais do Policiamento Orientado pelas Informações. Estas funções possibilitam a realização de uma melhor e racional alocação de recursos, no que diz respeito ao esforço do policiamento, por parte dos Comandantes de Destacamento Territorial. Desta forma, aliadas a estruturas tecnológicas como o SGO, SIIOP e SIG-SIRESP, estruturas estas capazes de produzir e difundir informação por todo o dispositivo, contribui-se para o desenvolvimento de uma atuação policial proativa de combate à criminalidade. Para melhor tirar proveito das mais-valias do modelo em estudo, a GNR deverá melhorar algumas áreas, de destacar, a formação na área das informações.   1. < subfield code =" a " > Abstract This report, entitled "The applicability of Intelligence-led Policing in the GNR", is a study that aims to evaluate the model’s applicability in the GNR and to identify the model’s potential gains. This investigation began with a theoretical framework, followed by literature research, where the fundamental concepts supporting the subject's framework were delineated. Field work consisted on the application of questionnaire surveys. In order to understand the criminals' new ways of operating, GNR must also develop a new way of policing. The characteristics and the operation methods of Intelligence-led Policing, based on proactivity and accuracy, assumes a natural improvement of the programs and models already developed. With this work, we conclude that the GNR model has its strengths to be applied. Existing organizational structures like the Training, Information, Operations and Public Relations Section, and the Criminal Investigation Section, contribute to the GNR model's development, as they play an essential role in Intelligence-led Policing. These functions enable the realization of a better and more rational distribution of resources, as far as policing efforts by the Territorial detachment commanders is concerned. Therefore, along with the technological structures such as the SGO, SIIOP and SIG-SIRESP, these structures can produce and disseminate information through the workforce, thus helping to develop proactive policing actions to fight crime. In order to maximize the benefits of the model under study, GNR should improve some areas, primarily in intelligence training. With the enhancement of the police models and special programs already developed by GNR, along with the improvement of the described areas, GNR will continue to provide an excellent public service to citizens. </ subfield >

11. < dc:description lang =" por " > Abstract This report, entitled "The applicability of Intelligence-led Policing in the GNR", is a study that aims to evaluate the model’s applicability in the GNR and to identify the model’s potential gains. This investigation began with a theoretical framework, followed by literature research, where the fundamental concepts supporting the subject's framework were delineated. Field work consisted on the application of questionnaire surveys. In order to understand the criminals' new ways of operating, GNR must also develop a new way of policing. The characteristics and the operation methods of Intelligence-led Policing, based on proactivity and accuracy, assumes a natural improvement of the programs and models already developed. With this work, we conclude that the GNR model has its strengths to be applied. Existing organizational structures like the Training, Information, Operations and Public Relations Section, and the Criminal Investigation Section, contribute to the GNR model's development, as they play an essential role in Intelligence-led Policing. These functions enable the realization of a better and more rational distribution of resources, as far as policing efforts by the Territorial detachment commanders is concerned. Therefore, along with the technological structures such as the SGO, SIIOP and SIG-SIRESP, these structures can produce and disseminate information through the workforce, thus helping to develop proactive policing actions to fight crime. In order to maximize the benefits of the model under study, GNR should improve some areas, primarily in intelligence training. With the enhancement of the police models and special programs already developed by GNR, along with the improvement of the described areas, GNR will continue to provide an excellent public service to citizens. </ dc:description >

As características e modo de funcionamento do Policiamento Orientado pelas Informações assente na proatividade e precisão, constitui-se como uma evolução natural aos programas e modelos já desenvolvidos. Com este trabalho conclui-se que a GNR apresenta potencialidades de aplicabilidade do modelo. As estruturas orgânicas já existentes, como é o caso da Secção de Operações Informações Treino e Relações Públicas e Secção de Investigação Criminal, contribuem para o desenvolvimento do mesmo, uma vez que, desempenham funções primordiais do Policiamento Orientado pelas Informações. Estas funções possibilitam a realização de uma melhor e racional alocação de recursos, no que diz respeito ao esforço do policiamento, por parte dos Comandantes de Destacamento Territorial. Desta forma, aliadas a estruturas tecnológicas como o SGO, SIIOP e SIG-SIRESP, estruturas estas capazes de produzir e difundir informação por todo o dispositivo, contribui-se para o desenvolvimento de uma atuação policial proativa de combate à criminalidade. Para melhor tirar proveito das mais-valias do modelo em estudo, a GNR deverá melhorar algumas áreas, de destacar, a formação na área das informações.
