Descripción:: A pesquisa realizada tem por objetivo principal apresentar e discutir as possibilidades de emprego das ferramentas intervencionistas previstas no direito internacional, diante da crise vivenciada na Venezuela nos últimos anos. Para tanto, foram exploradas as possibilidades, à luz da Carta das Nações Unidas de 1945, de intervenção de um Estado em outro e o papel do Conselho de Segurança da ONU diante de situações que ensejam a discussão e as possíveis ações que geram imposições (restrições, sanções, embargos, entre outras) em um país. Tornou-se imperativo para o entendimento da pesquisa diferenciar o emprego da força entre as sanções coativas militares e não militares a serem empregadas e destacar as soluções gradativas de sua aplicação. Ademais, a apresentação e análise das formas de emprego da força, codificadas e não codificadas na Carta, permitem uma melhor avaliação do que vem ocorrendo na Venezuela, principalmente, diante do contexto de crise política, econômica e civilizatória. A metodologia empregada utilizou técnicas de pesquisa bibliográfica, tendo como base o estudo de livros doutrinários, artigos, revistas científicas, a legislação disponível e sites de notícias. Propõe-se, sem exaurir a temática, a adoção do diálogo, a fim de possibilitar uma transição de governo pacífica.; The main objective of this research is to present and discuss and the possibilities of using interventionist tools provided in international law face of the crisis in Venezuela in recent years. To this end, and in light of the 1945 United Nations Charter, possibilities of intervention by one State in another were explored as well as the role of the UN Security Council before situations that involve the discussion and possible actions which generate impositions (restrictions, sanctions, embargoes, among others) in a country. It is imperative for the understanding of the research to differentiate the employment of force between military and non-military sanctions and to highlight the gradual solutions for their deployment Moreover, the presentation and analysis of the ways of force employment, coded and not coded in the Charter, allow a better evaluation of what has been occurring in Venezuela, mainly, in the context of political, economic and civil crisis. The chosen methodology used bibliographical research techniques, based on the study of doctrinal books, articles, scientific journals, available legislation and news sites. It is proposed, without exhausting the theme, the adoption of dialogue, in order to enable a peaceful government transition.
