      1. < subfield code =" a " > Mencionar TIC es hablar de uno de los temas más globalizados, de gran importancia y de alta trascendencia en la actualidad, que se proyecta como incidencia en posiblemente la totalidad de quehaceres y actividades del ser humano. Con los actuales desarrollos Tecnológicos de Hardware, las Innovaciones de Software y los avances en las Tecnologías de la Información y las Comunicaciones – TIC, las Instituciones de la Fuerza Pública, no podrían estar ausentes en el listado de beneficiados con la aplicación de las herramientas tecnológicas en sus diferentes aspectos Administrativos, Operativos y de Toma de Decisiones. Esta investigación analiza el uso de las Herramientas tecnológicas que se aplican en los diferentes sectores que componen las instituciones de la fuerza pública en Colombia. Es claro que las TIC se están actualizando y cambiando el mundo por completo, afectando a todos los sectores en mayor o en menor medida. Por lógica, las Tecnologías de la Información y las Comunicaciones no detendrán su vertiginoso avance y adaptarse a ellas es un ejercicio operativo que todas las instituciones de vanguardia deben buscar para aprovechar los máximos beneficios de sus acciones, y así, lograr la Excelencia en la prestación de un servicio. El Objetivo de este artículo es demostrar la importancia e incidencia de las TIC en los procesos Administrativos, Operativos y de Toma de Decisiones en las Instituciones Militares de Colombia. La Metodología de Investigación y de recopilación de información a utilizar es Cuantitativa, Hermenéutica, de tipo Documental y Descriptiva, utilizando como instrumento, el análisis documental de literatura existente en diferentes medios. El análisis de las sobresalientes conclusiones muestra que algunas de las instituciones se encuentran preparadas para hacer frente a esta arrolladora etapa de las tecnologías, pero hacen el reconocimiento de la magna importancia de las TIC, en el desarrollo institucional y administrativo. Es de vital importancia para las Instituciones de la Fuerza Pública, diseñar, crear e implementar planes de comunicaciones estructurados y bien soportados en la gestión de las TIC, la coordinación en la dirección de las distintas operaciones permitiendo el flujo de la información centralizada, y la reingeniería de procedimientos en el manejo del flujo de la información logística soportada en las TIC. Abstract To mention ICT is to talk about one of the most globalized issues, of great importance and of high importance today, which is projected as an incidence in possibly all the tasks and activities of the human being. With current Hardware Technological developments, Software Innovations and advances in Information and Communication Technologies - ICT, Public Force Institutions could not be absent from the list of beneficiaries with the application of technological tools in its different administrative, operational and decision-making aspects. This research analyzes the use of technological tools that are applied in the different sectors that make up the institutions of the public force in Colombia. It is clear that ICTs are updating and changing the world completely, affecting all sectors to a greater or lesser extent. Logically, Information and Communication Technologies will not stop their vertiginous advance and adapting to them is an operational exercise that all avant-garde institutions must seek to take advantage of the maximum benefits of their actions, and thus, achieve Excellence in the provision of a service. The objective of this article is to demonstrate the importance and incidence of ICT in the Administrative, Operational and Decision-Making processes in the Military Institutions of Colombia. The Research and Information Collection Methodology to be used is Quantitative, Hermeneutic, Documentary and Descriptive, using as an instrument, the documentary analysis of existing literature in different media. The analysis of the outstanding conclusions shows that some of the institutions are prepared to face this overwhelming stage of technologies, but they acknowledge the great importance of ICTs in institutional and administrative development. It is of vital importance for the Institutions of the Public Force, to design, create and implement structured and well-supported communication plans in the management of ICT, the coordination in the direction of the different operations allowing the flow of centralized information, and the reengineering of procedures in managing the flow of logistics information supported by ICT. </ subfield >
