Descripción:: O presente artigo propõe-se a contribuir para a produção de conhecimento e reflexões acerca deaspectos pedagógicos da formação do oficial combatente do Exército Brasileiro. Tem como objetivoa análise da motivação do Cadete para o estudo e sua influência no desempenho em avaliações deacompanhamento e na percepção dos processos de ensino e aprendizagem, mais especificamente nadisciplina de Psicologia. Dos dados obtidos, de questionário aplicado aos cadetes do 2º ano,destacaram-se grupos com baixa, moderada e alta motivação para o estudo e realizou-se ocomparativo com desempenho em avaliações e percepção dos processos pedagógicos. Por fim,concluiu-se que os níveis de motivação para o estudo afetam tanto o desempenho nas avaliações comoa percepção da eficácia dos processos de ensino e aprendizagem.; This article aims to contribute to the production of knowledge and reflections on pedagogical aspectsof the training of the combatant officer of the Brazilian Army. The scope of this study is the analysisof Cadet's motivation for the study and its influence on performance in follow-up evaluations and inthe perception of teaching and learning processes, more specifically in the Psychology Chair. Fromthe data obtained from a questionnaire applied to 2nd year cadets, groups with low, moderate andhigh motivation for the study stand out, and the comparison with performance in evaluations andperception of the pedagogical processes was performed. Finally, it was concluded that the levels ofmotivation for the study affect both the evaluation performance and the perception of theeffectiveness of the teaching and learning processes.
