Descripción:: O Artigo tem como tema a aplicação da estratégia modular na produção de blindados no Brasil sob aótica do setor automobilístico civil. Destina-se primeiramente a apresentar a estratégia modular,adotada pela indústria automobilística, para em seguida analisar a aplicação da estratégia modular,principalmente nas viaturas militares Astros e Guarani, produzidos hoje no Brasil pelas empresasAVIBRAS e IVECO. Para atingir o objetivo foi realizada uma pesquisa descritiva, hipotéticodedutiva, na qual se buscou confirmar se a estratégia modular traz benefícios para a indústriaautomobilística civil, ela também trará os mesmos benefícios para a indústria de veículos militaresbrasileira. Conclui-se que a estratégia está sendo bem aplicada e trazendo benefícios semelhantes aoque trouxe para a indústria civil, com algumas ressalvas.; The article focuses on the application of a modular blind production strategy in Brazil from theperspective of the civil automobile sector. This article aims first to show the modular strategy, that isapplied in the automobile sector, and then to analyzes the application of the modular strategy mainlyin the armored vehicles Astros and Guarani, produced today in Brazil by the companies AVIBRASand IVECO. To achieve the objective, a descriptive, hypothetical-deductive research was carried out,in which it was sought to confirm whether the modular strategy brings benefits to the civil automobileindustry, it will also bring the same benefits to the Brazilian military vehicle industry. The paperconcludes that the strategy is being well applied and bringing benefits like what it brought to the civilindustry, with some caveats.
