Título:: Análise de um Portal de Ensino-Aprendizagem de Línguas para Fins Específicos Voltado para Militares que Estão em Busca de Certificação em Língua Inglesa
Descripción:: Este artigo apresenta uma análise do portal de cursos on-line e assíncronos de Língua Inglesa para Fins Específicos chamado Habilite-se Já, direcionado a militares do Exército Brasileiro que buscam credenciamento linguístico por meio de exames de proficiência. O objetivo geral do estudo foi analisar o portal on-line de ensino Habilite-se Já à luz de teorias que embasam o desenvolvimento de materiais didáticos para o ensino de Línguas para Fins Específicos, com vistas a descobrir se a aprendizagem de fato se baseia na necessidade do aluno e qual o papel do professor nesse contexto. A pesquisa baseou-se teoricamente em estudos sobre a abordagem de ensino de Línguas para Fins Específicos. O estudo adotou uma abordagem qualitativa do tipo documental, em que o documento analisado foi material didático utilizado no portal. Com base nos resultados, sugere-se que pesquisas futuras realizem uma análise de necessidades mais abrangente, incluindo entrevistas com os alunos, para melhor compreender seus objetivos em termos de necessidades, lacunas e desejos. Em suma, este estudo contribui para a melhoria do portal Habilite-se Já, tendo o potencial de impactar muitos militares que estão em busca da certificação em Língua Inglesa.; This article presents an analysis of the online and asynchronous English for Specific Purposes courses portal called "Habilite-se Já", which was designed specifically for members of the Brazilian Army seeking linguistic accreditation. The overall objective of the study was to analyze the "Habilite-se Já" portal in light of theories that support the development of materials for teaching English for Specific Purposes, with the aim of discovering whether learning is indeed tailored to the students' needs and understanding the role of the teacher in this context. The research was theoretically based on studies on the approach to teaching English for Specific Purposes. The study adopted a qualitative documental approach, in which the analyzed document was the teaching material used in the "Habilite-se Já" portal. Based on the results, it is suggested that future researches carry out a more comprehensive needs analysis, including interviews with students to better understand their goals, in terms of needs, lacks and wants. In summary, this study contributes to the improvement of the "Habilite-se Já" portal, with the potential to impact many servicemen and servicewomen who are seeking certification in the English language.
