Descripción:: A globalização dos dias de hoje traz desafios ao mundo. Um desses desafios é o Crime Organizado Transnacional, que tem utilizado a livre circulação de pessoas, bens e moeda, no espaço Schengen, a abertura das oportunidades a leste e a sul e o incremento das relações comerciais, para estender os seus tentáculos. Daqui resulta a dificuldade em se encontrar uma definição consensual e abrangente de Crime Organizado Territorial. Tal dificulta o combate a essa ameaça por parte dos Estados e da comunidade internacional, surgindo consequentes desafios sociais e estruturais que se refletem na sua segurança. Portugal tem um recorte e posição geográfica que, conjugadas com uma legislação permissiva e restritiva, lhe permite ser visto como uma plataforma giratória e logística, para a entrada e manutenção do Crime Organizado Territorial na Europa. Assim, através do levantamento das ameaças desse âmbito no nosso território, do estudo das tendências evolutivas do Crime Organizado Territorial e da análise dos mecanismos à disposição do nosso País para o combater, pretendemos esboçar os fundamentos de uma estratégia que possa ser implementada, por Portugal, no combate ao crime organizado transnacional e elencar algumas medidas para, no âmbito dos principais eixos dessa estratégia, tornar mais eficaz tal combate.; The globalization brings major challenges to the world. One such challenge is Transnational Organized Crime, which has used the free movement of people, goods and currency, to the Schengen area, the opening of opportunities to the east and south and the increase of trade relations, to extend its reach. These dynamics result in the difficulty of finding a consensual and comprehensive definition of Territorial Organized Crime. This hampers the fight against the threat by states and the international community, and the consequent social and structural challenges that are reflected by their security. Portugal has a geographical position which, combined with both permissive and restrictive legislation, allows it to be seen as a logistical platform for the entry and maintenance of Organized Crime in European Territorial Community. Thus, through the analysis the threats that scope in our territory, the study the evolutionary trends of Territorial Organized Crime, and the analysis of the mechanisms at the disposal of our country to combat it, we intend to outline the fundamentals of a strategy than can be implemented by Portugal in the fight against transnational organized crime and list some measures, within the framework of the main axis of this strategy, to combat it more effectively.; info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersion
